Today there is no dearth of social change makers who feel for a cause and have the ability to lead a social project to enduring impact even against systemic odds and challenges. What is lacking however is that most giving remains fragmented and small. Moreover, few change makers have been able to build a network of capabilities and partnerships to drive the project to long term success, although many have the vision to do so individually.
There is an emerging need to optimise efforts and resources through effective collaboration of time, effort and capital. Which is where Giving Circle comes in. Through our online collaboration platform, we provide means for the stakeholders to participate in the shaping of the society in their individual capacity without having to wait for government bodies, industrialists and NGOs to initiate the change making process. Now each one of us can initiate a social cause, seek collaborations and gather support for the fulfilment of such causes.
Additionally, through our platform we continuously provide curated and targeted information on initiatives and impact of our change makers are doing to ensure that work done by the change makers doesn't go unnoticed and can be leveraged to inspire and empower other potential change makers that would otherwise be conscientious but numb bystanders.
Colleagues who connected over common social consciousness and a deep desire to give back to the society, Bhumika and Bipin conceptualised Giving Circle. The thought behind initiating it was to create a collaborative platform for those conscientious souls who wanted to participate in the change process; and act as a voice for the change makers who could use the platform to spread awareness about their initiatives and garner support.
These are the people who are our advisors, mentors , sounding boards, partners - We are sure to keep adding more as we grow, some will be on our rolls but these are the ones with whom we started the journey and hence close to our heart. We hold them in high regard as Individuals first, brands later.
